We’re a pretty active family, so a week off usually means mountain biking, hiking, river wading, a few rounds of golf and a little shopping around the small mountain towns. I thought my NRS Crush Water Shoes would be a perfect all-around footwear for the entire trip, and they didn’t disappoint.
On day one we jumped in head first with a swim in the South Fork of the New River, the only major river in the United States that flows northward. My NRS Crush Water Shoes were a perfect choice to navigate the rocks as well as battle the swift flowing water while searching for that perfect souvenir river stone. The next day we headed to the Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Park just outside of Boone. I wore the Crush shoes again and was surprised how comfortable they were on a singletrack bike trail.
We hiked Mount Jefferson early one morning and hit the streets later that day to visit some small art galleries in downtown West Jefferson. My son is only nine, and not quite ready for a full 18 holes of golf, but we do sneak out in the late evenings for a few holes before dark. I wore my NRS Crush through all of this and they were perfectly comfortable for every activity. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for an active, do-everything shoe.
